Airports

São Paulo has one international airport (GRU - http://www.gru.com.br) and 2 local airports (CGH - http://www.aeroportocongonhas.net and VCP - http://www.aeroportoviracopos.net). The workshop venue can be easily accessed by taxi (recommended) from GRU and CGH. These airports also have car rentals from the major companies like Avis, Hertz, Budget, among others.

We recommend to use taxi for your convenience and safety. These airports have taxi counters right outside the terminals where you can prepay your ride (just give them the address) by cash or credit card, so that you will not have any surprises if you hit a traffic jam. All taxi cars are of white color and identified with the taxi company logo painted in their doors. A taxi ride from GRU to IAG-USP is around R$150.00 (~USD 70) and we usually don't give tips.

VCP is about 90 km from São Paulo city and some airlines offer free transfers to selected places in São Paulo.
